The Band of the Fighting Irish

ND Band

The University of Notre Dame Band is the nation's first University band, rendering their musical talents since 1846 when they performed at the first graduation ceremony. It’s always new and dynamic with over 500 student participants in the program. 

Their precision and power, en masse or in smaller units give fans and guests the opportunity to experience a performance in a variety of settings and times over the home football weekend. After Game Day weekend concludes, they will have marched more than seven miles.

Football Fridays

Concert on the Steps Bond Hall 90 minutes before kickoff
Drummers' Circle and Section Performances Bond Hall and Main Quad Following pre-game concert
March Out Main Building to ND Stadium 45 minutes before kickoff
Pregame Show Notre Dame Stadium ~20 minutes before kickoff
Half Time Performance Notre Dame Stadium Half Time
