Football Events You Don’t Want To Miss

The weekend of the season home opener against Texas will be full of exciting events all across campus! Here are some highlights of what’s to come…

Friday, September 4th

ND Stadium Tunnel Tour 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

Since 1931, every Notre Dame football team has walked down the same tunnel, to the same field before every home football game. Every Irish fan has the opportunity to walk the same fabled walk every Irish player has taken for the past 81 years. Come experience the North Tunnel of Notre Dame Stadium, take pictures with the field in the background, and feel the echoes waiting to be awoke. Free and open to the public.

The Notre Dame Stadium tunnel tour will be open from 10:00am until 5:00pm, except during team walk-throughs.

ND Pep Rally 5:45 pm

The Texas pep rally will be held on South Quad in front of Rockne Memorial Friday night at 5:45pm. The rally will feature head coach Brian Kelly and the Fighting Irish football team along with the Notre Dame Marching Band, Leprechaun and Cheerleaders. As always the Pep Rally is free and open to the public. Come out and support the Fighting Irish as they get ready to beat the Longhorns in Notre Dame Stadium.

Saturday, September 5th

The LaBar practice facility will be open to the public from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. Be sure to stop by to see where the Irish prepare for every Game Day.

Player Walk 5:15 pm

The Notre Dame football players and coaches will walk from the Guglielmino Complex to the Library (Touchdown Jesus), then down Library Quad into the Stadium. Line up along the sides of Library Quad to cheer on the Fighting Irish as they walk into the stadium.
