While Friday nights before Notre Dame football games in South Bend are usually spent celebrating Fighting Irish football at pep rallies, in Ireland fans will receive a once-in-a-lifetime experience at “Notre Dame: A Welcome Home.” This event will mix in elements of a typical Notre Dame pep rally with popular Irish performances and singers to create an amazing collaboration.
Among the Irish performers will be Brian Kennedy. A protégé of Van Morrison, Brian is an acclaimed singer from Belfast. He has shared the global stage with Morrison, as well as Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan and Ray Charles. Other singers at the event will include Damian Dempsey, Eimear Quinn, Anthony Kearns, ballad group, The High Kings, and the Irish choir, Anuna.
