Clear Bag Policy Effective September 1, 2018

“Under the Dome: Celebrating 175 Years of Notre Dame,” a 3D mapping projection video that uses the architecture of the Main Building and Basilica of the Sacred Heart as a canvas to bring to life great moments in the University’s history, will premiere at 9:30, 10 and 10:30 p.m. May 18 (Friday) and May 19 (Saturday) on the Main Quad of the campus.…

The Shirt Unveiled

Now in its 29th year, The Shirt Project began in 1990 as a means to raise money to fund Notre Dame student activities – a cause it continues to support today. In the spring of 1990, senior Brennan Harvath ’91, then Chairman of AnTostal, had the idea to sell T-shirts to raise funds for AnTostal, the Student Union Board’s spring festival.  The shirt created for the fundraiser was also intended to unify the student body for the home-opener football game against Michigan on September 15, 1990. Over 9,000 shirts were sold and sales reached over $17,000. …

Rod West ('90) Named Sugar Bowl President

Will oversee all Allstate Sugar Bowl events, including 85th annual football classic

NEW ORLEANS – Rod West, Utility Group President for the Entergy Corporation and a former national champion football player for Notre Dame, has been selected as the Sugar Bowl Committee’s President for the 2018-19 year. West, a New Orleans native and a graduate of Brother Martin High School, has been a member of the Sugar Bowl Committee since 1995. He is the 61st president of the organization and will oversee the 85th annual playing of the Allstate Sugar Bowl Football Classic on January 1, 2019 as well as the bowl’s annual slate of over 50 other events throughout the year.…

Irish Football Completes 2018 Signing Class

Notre Dame welcomes a top-10 class of 27 student-athletes.

NOTRE DAME, Indiana -- The University of Notre Dame football roster will increase by 27 student-athletes for the 2018 season.

The 27 new additions represent 15 states-- three from New Jersey, three from Georgia, three from Florida, three from California, two from Pennsylvania, two from Illinois, two from Maryland, one from Louisiana, one from Arkansas, one from Ohio, one from Oregon, one from Tennessee, one from Indiana, one from Michigan and one from North Carolina-- and the District of Columbia.…

Terry Joseph Named Notre Dame Safeties Coach

Joseph has coached defensive backs at the Power 5 level for each of the last eight years

NOTRE DAME, Indiana - Terry Joseph, previously an assistant coach at Tennessee, Nebraska, Texas A&M and North Carolina, has been named safeties coach for the University of Notre Dame.

“Having the chance to coach at Notre Dame is a once in a lifetime opportunity,” said Joseph. “There are a lot of great programs in the nation but there is truly only one Notre Dame. I’m looking forward to working with Coach Kelly, the rest of the staff and embracing the opportunity to compete on a national stage in pursuit of this program’s mission: to graduate all of its players and win a national championship.”…
