Author: Leigh Bogensperger

If you are heading to the Emerald Isle to watch the Irish take on Navy in the 2012 season opener, add a tour of Ireland’s Parliament building – the Leinster House – to your itinerary.

The Leinster House now houses the National Parliament of Ireland. The Tour encompasses all sections of the Houses of Parliament, both the Seanad Éireann (the Senate) and Dáil Éireann (the House of Representatives) and the Main Hall, with a guide to all the historical features of the building. This tour is free and open to the public and lasts approximately 40 minutes with a limit of 35 people.

Tours are being offered daily at 10:30 a.m., and 3 p.m. the week prior to the game – Monday, August 27 thru Friday, August 31. They will then resume the week after the game – Monday, September 3 thru Friday, September 7.
