"Looking at the Stars": Irish Art at the University of Notre Dame

Location: Snite Museum of Art

Recognizing that the history of Irish visual art may be less familiar than the Irish performing and literary arts, the Snite Museum has partnered with the Keough-Naughton Institute for Irish Studies to showcase the significant achievements of the artists in this exhibition. By combining paintings, prints, and photographs from the Museum's permanent collection with significant contributions from the Hesburgh Libraries' Rare Books & Special Collections, as well as with selected loans from the renowned collection of Patricia and John O'Brien, the Museum hopes to enrich visitors' understanding of integral aspects of Irish culture and heritage. Celebrate the Change with a Director’s Tour of the Charles B. Hayes Family Sculpture Park

Location: Charles B. Hayes Family Sculpture Park

Join us in the Charles B. Hayes Family Sculpture Park to celebrate the changing of the seasons and upcoming changes to the Park. Take this chance to say “see you soon” to a few sculptures before they move to the Snite Museum in preparation for building the new Raclin Murphy Museum of Art.
