Notre Dame Band's Symphonic Band/Winds Concert


Location: Debartolo Performing Arts Center

The Notre Dame Band presents its annual Symphonic Band/Symphonic Winds concert at the beautiful Debartolo Performing Arts Center! Comprised of undergraduate and graduate students from across campus, the two ensembles will present an afternoon of music featuring works by Modest Mussorgsky, John Philip Sousa, and Frank Ticheli. The two ensembles will join together for a grand finale with more than 150 musicians! 

Dating back to 1845, the Notre Dame Band is the oldest college band in continuous existence in the United States. The Band was the recipient of the 2011-2012 Sudler Trophy, considered the Heisman Trophy for college bands, and was declared a "Landmark of American Music" by the Indiana Music Educators Association. 

Family friendly, all ages are welcome. This is a free but ticketed event. To guarantee your reservation please pick-up your Will Call tickets at least 15 minutes prior to the performance. In the event of a sell out, unclaimed Will Call tickets will be used to seat patrons waiting on standby.
