Hibernian Lecture: Notre Dame: The Irish Connections

The annual HIBERNIAN LECTURE, organized under the auspices of Notre Dame’s Cushwa Center for the
Study of American Catholicism will be delivered by KEVIN WHELAN on the topic of NOTRE DAME: THE IRISH CONECTIONS. This illustrated lecture will explore the long-standing historical connections between the University of Notre Dame and Ireland, as well as covering the more recent linkages of the ‘Fighting Irish’ with the island.
The lecture will be held in O’Connell House , 58 Merrion Square on Thursday 30 August from 4-5, followed by a reception from 5-5.30pm.
