Amy Bio

Amy Marquez was named Coordinator of Game Day in June of 2015.

As Coordinator of Game Day Operations, Amy is charged with implementing and managing all aspects of Game Day’s guest services, hospitality, and communications efforts.

Prior to stepping into the Coordinator role, Amy worked as the Family Programming & Special Events Intern with Notre Dame RecSports organizing campus wide family programs and events while working closely with student activities, campus activities, and athletics.  

Amy earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of West Florida in 2005 where she was a four year member of the DII Women’s Soccer Team. Upon graduation she spent one year as the Sports Information Intern for the Argonauts 14 Division II varsity sports. In 2008, she received her Master of Science degree in Sport Management from Georgia Southern University.  

During her time at Georgia Southern she worked as a Marketing Graduate Assistant for the Campus Recreation and Intramurals department, overseeing the day to day marketing, creative design and promotional efforts of seven program areas. Before coming to South Bend, Amy was the assistant coach for the girls soccer team at Land O' Lakes high school for three years where she helped lead the team to two consecutive district championships.  
A native of Framingham, Massachusetts; Amy currently resides in South Bend.
