The Player Walk
Irish fans turned out in droves on Library Quad, just north of the stadium to cheer on the team as they made
their way down the all new route for the Player Walk.

The Freshman Breaks Free
Freshman George Atkinson III, sprung by an incredible block by walk-on Chris Salvi, found a seam and sprinted to the first kickoff return for touchdown since the great Rocket Ismail did it in 1988. The return was the first kickoff return for an Irish player of any age since Armando Allen in the 2009 Hawaii Bowl.
Cierre Wood Goes Airborne for the Touchdown
Sophomore Tailback Cierre Wood rushed for 61 yards and 2 touchdown
The Student Section celebrates one of the Irish’s four touchdowns in traditional fashion.
Sophomore Quarterback Tommy Rees recovered well from an early interception passing for 161 yards on 21 attempts with a touchdown.
Notre Dame players joined with the student body for the post game singing of the Alma Mater.
