Eck Visitors Center
The Eck Visitors Center is a key destination for any campus visitor. Located next to the Hammes Notre Dame Bookstore on Notre Dame Avenue, the Eck Center can provide information on all events happening on campus during the weekend. Stop by the auditorium to see a brief video introducing you to Notre Dame’s storied history. At pre-arranged times (not on Game Day itself), meet a student tour guide ready to show you the campus. On Game Day, you might be on time for a concert performed just outside the Eck Center. Visit the center’s website for more information.
Visitors Center Hours
Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time
Saturday and Sunday: 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time
Campus Tours
A tour of our campus will add a new dimension to your experience of a football weekend. Although public student-guided tours are not available on Saturday or Sunday during football weekends, consider arriving on Friday or earlier for the regular weekday tours that depart daily at 10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m.
You could also plan your own customized tour. The Eck Visitors Center auditorium offers a 12-minute video that gives you a good introduction to campus. Check in for all tours at the Eck Visitors Center. Under special circumstances, private tours can be scheduled by calling the Alumni Association at 574-631-5726. Learn more about campus tours.
Tours for prospective or recently admitted students can be arranged through the Admissions Office at 574-631-7505.
Stadium Tunnel Tour
From 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the Friday before a home game, visitors are welcome to walk down the North Tunnel of Notre Dame Stadium to the end zone just as the Irish do on gameday, capturing on camera and in one’s memory the sights from our historic gridiron.
